THE SEARCHLIGHT   

    This site is the creation of Alan Schneider. Alan is very concerned about the condition of our world today, and has decided to present this Site as a place where positive images, information, and concepts can be collected, enhanced, and, most importantly, disseminated to other similarly concerned people around the world.

          The earth upon which we all must live today is challenged by pollution, by human ignorance, by negative emotional states, by the enormous burden of our very race on a strained base of planetary resources, and by a profound spiritual vacuum of unprecedented pervasiveness -- one which reaches into every phase of life, and into almost every human heart and mind.

          If this spiritual void is not recognized for the menace that it is, and corrective measures are not taken, we must fear for the very existence of this planet, and particularly for the future generations to come -- the children of today and tomorrow. It is for these as yet only partially formed human beings that the gift of this Site has been forged.

          The image chosen to present here is that of the figure shown, seated in the Yoga Lotus posture in meditation. Alan believes that the practices of Yoga and Meditation are the keys to the consciousness which can yet deliver the human race from destruction. The Chakras of Consciousness are shown superimposed on the meditating figure, as the map of spiritual progression for human beings on this Earth.

          A new consciousness and mindset are emerging at this time in the world, a consciousness of some higher purpose beyond the obsessive collection of objects, and a mind set encompassing the whole race of humanity, and, indeed the world and the universe, as One Being expressed in many forms -- in a United Condition of existence.
